Some of the water is green here because the Leptothrix discophora film is reflecting the green leaves of overhanging tree branches.

Brilliant color in this one. Polarizer?

I have one on the camera most of the time, but I don’t always make conscious use of it. Whether it was turned to cut reflections or not turned, I don’t remember. Usually, cutting reflections cancels the interference colors of the Leptothrix discophora film, so probably the polarizer was just sitting there. Thanks for writing, Ken.
