New snow has fallen since March 4 and was still hanging around in pieces March 26.

  1. Especially in places like this, snug at the intersection of tree and turf. This photogrpah has an interesting intimacy.

    • What do you think of the role of the shadow at the left? I can’t say I was consciously aware of it when I took the photo, but I think it adds to it. It sort of keeps the snow in its place, making the spot cozy.
