Silo As Icon 5

Three of the tiles that I could see from my locations on the ground had writing on them. Were the names those of the tile makers?

Update: See the comments below for information about Mr. Quashnefky. Also, I added a photograph that shows the structure of the tiles.
This is cool. It would seem something would come up in a google search – such unusual names. I love that the bricks were signed, and the flourish.

I think they are tiles, rather than bricks, though don’t ask me the difference between a brick and a tile. These are squared-off hollow cylinders. I’m adding a photo above to show you what I mean. “Brownhelm” is the name of a nearby township, so there could be a relationship there, but I could find no match for Quashnefky when I looked the other day. But today, just now (!), Google found matches with ancestry sites.
William Quashnefky
Birth: Jan 11 1887
Death: Aug 1966
Last residence: Lorain, Ohio 44052, USA
SSN issuing state: Illinois
The above is from one ancestry site; another says he was born in Germany in 1888. And look here!: http://www.waymarking.com/waymarks/WMH7X0_Quashnefky_silo_Lorain_County_Ohio
Wow. Wonder why this didn’t show up the other day. Oh, well. Thanks for pushing it.
