I think this is a blue spruce, and not a collection of ostrich fans, which is what it reminds me of.

Yes, isn’t it wonderful the way tree branches fan out and overlap like that sometimes?

  I could have guessed that you’d also noticed that happening, Lynn. In our old house I used to look out the dining room window at the beech trees doing the same thing, and when the wind blew gently, the leaves on the branches looked even more like fans.
