Most of the flowers on Wildflower Hill now are yellow.

Mmm, nice quiet undulations of foliage, the sprinkling of yellow…I used to think of this as the yellow-and-purlpe time of year (in the northeast) – the asters and such, and the goldenrods…

Yes, undulations. I love how you analyze my photographs! So you get asters and goldenrods out there, too, eh? Ours don’t quite overlap, the asters finishing up just when the goldenrod starts in. But here and there we get to see them together. But the asters haven’t begun yet. Tonight I noticed that one of the maples was turning quite red already. I think that’s because of the drought.
