Sky Hangs Heavy over the Dead Trees of Longboat Key

What caught my eye initially was the way most of these trees were pointing to the upended stump in the water. Looking at the photograph later, I noticed how the big wave seems balanced by the closest clouds.

You’ve captured much of what I love about the Gulf shore. I can almost hear the sounds of waves lapping on those gently sloped sandy beaches.
