The National Tube Company is one of the entities folded into U.S. Steel, becoming the National Tube Division of that company. Susanne and I talked with someone now on the legal staff of U.S. Steel in the parking lot of this building. He told us that only “five or six” people have offices here now. Maybe the five window air-conditioners indicate their locations. . . . In trying to find out more about the National Tube Company I found some interesting websites related to the history of steel making in Lorain.
