That luggage rack caught my eye – I don’t know why, but I’ve always liked those things. I think I have one somewhere around here. 🙂 And again, the light inside and out is so delicate and carefully considered. I like the difference in the upper and lower window, too. The second photo seem to me more emotionally charged, which is a good thing.

I just fussed some more with the top photo. It looks less dull now, but I don’t know if it’s overall better. Now I quit.

So now I can’t remeber the earlier version well enough to know what you did, except that I think you brightened highlights and whites?

I took it into Color Efex and used color contrast on it as well as something(s) else, too, but I can’t remember what. Also a lot of noise reduction in Lr. The whole thing looks less dull now.

Love this one – the colors of the curtains, the chair, the luggage rack, as well as the window and the composition.
