Iridescence along the River 7

When the water level recedes, it leaves traces of the Leptothrix discophora film on the rocks and mud. The close crop shows the iridescence best. Click on it to see the image even bigger. (The paw prints are from a raccoon.)

  1. That’s really subtle, and I can’t help zeroing in on the paw prints! 😉 We just had two fat ones in the yard a few days ago. They’re probably here all the time…

    • Guess I could have cropped in tighter so it wouldn’t have been so subtle . . .
