I thought Duckweed was a peculiarly english thing. I saw a pond only the other day that was completely green with duckweed – but I couldn’t see a picture. My eye mush have been taking a day off!
I don’t know if it’s the same species, but, oh, yes, we have duckweed here, and it often coats the entire surface of the water. Knowing your eye, I am sure that it won’t be on vacation for long.
