Thank you, Lynn. You really can’t tell from the photograph, but two small branches of the Vermilion River are merging to form another branch here. The merged part is on the right, and the smaller parts are in front and way in back. I need to go back here and try to get some photographs that show that. This is the local Boy Scout camp, and the area is open to the public but not well publicized.

There were small rivers in NY/NJ that had that look – I can’t remember exactly where, but it’s a familiar look, very pretty.

There is a creek (Mill Creek) that looks almost exactly like this in Webster (Where life is worth living). This is, by far, a better shot than I have ever taken of Mill Creek. I will try again.
