Remnants of Winter; Harbingers of Spring 15
April 12, 2018
I saw more crystallized (if that’s what it is) ice along the Vermilion River March 26. My daughter assures me that this is ice that has partially thawed and then refrozen. She lives on a lake and often has observed this kind of ice along the shore.
That is beautiful – almost a natural ‘collage’ of life on a frozen lake or river…. 🙂

Thank you, Mary Ellen. Hmm, I like that: “natural collage.”

Always believe your kids! 🙂 It sounds reasonable to me, but your photo is beyond reasonable, and brings the scene into the realm of poetry. Really, really, nice, the way the composition and the actual elements and warm colors work together.

You’re too generous, Lynn, but thank you. Wouldn’t it be nice if we could have ice year round? 😉
