This shot does benefit from the icm but it’s and excellent shot in its own right. Nice work, Linda!

Thank you, Ken. I think banyan trees are way cool, but they do play havoc with the immediate environment, like sidewalks and such. I’m told it’s illegal to plant them in the city of Sarasota now, but there are plenty around from before the ban.

It’s always interesting to see “before and after” pictures. One wouldn’t guess that was one large tree. You nailed it by singling out that one root and lightening it – perfect.

Yup. But those photos are from 2014. Haven’t gone out with camera yet since arriving Friday. Still unpacking and rearranging stuff.
