I don’t know where the color comes from but it does look great.

Yeah, I don’t know either, Ken. We’d had a storm a few nights earlier, but that doesn’t say why the sand is dark in some places on this beach. Maybe it has something to do with this spot being near where they dredge a channel under a bridge.
