Thank you, Barry. Perhaps unfortunately, this is the last in the fog series. Next up: some mushrooms I’d never seen before; a lot of photos with water, many with reflections; and some photos of my old pal Leptothrix discophora from my trip to the Vermilion River last Wednesday.
I tried hard to get an image of a spider’s web yesterday that was awkwardly placed and gave up eventually! This is a super shot and the image is completed by that hole in the wood. What nice little finish that is!
Thanks, Andy. I’m glad that you agree with my thinking about that hole in the wood. If you click on the image twice, you can see that the hole hosts its own (rather messy) spider web.
I am really liking your new sets of images.

Thank you, Catherine. Even though they’re somewhat clichĂ© in the photography world, spider webs with water clinging to them are hard to pass up. I guess they’re like sunrises and sunsets that way.

A classic web! Did you have that one made to order? Come on, fess up! (I agree about the wood texture – it’s a great touch).
