Do you know the work of painter Loren MacIver? I saw a painting of hers in the Detroit Institute of Arts many years ago. When I looked at this photo a few days after posting it, it made me think of that painting. I hadn’t thought of it for decades and was amazed that I even recalled her name. What fun to be able to Google her and see so much of her other work.
