On the afternoon I took these photos, I was trying to capture the feeling of being in the woods, more than a particular look or feature of them. Despite reading a lot of advice that photographers should capture feeling, I’ve never felt I knew how to do that. Maybe I did it this time. Thanks for writing, Barry.
