There are some cottonwoods behind our yard that look very much like these. For some reason, I find them very inspirational, especially when I feel myself in a slump. Nice shot.

Thanks, Ken. These are oaks, which always keep their leaves longer than the other trees on our property with the exception of the beeches. It was the way the rising sun lit them up that attracted me. I also liked the way the webbing of the bare branches in front of the oaks partially obscured the oak leaves and danced against the sky. I remember that you’ve taken similar shots.
