Downriver Walk 2015—Tan Cliffs

November 16, 2015

There is a spot downriver where the light-tan cliffs are a quite high. The river is shallow right there, and I can easily wade around in the middle to catch their reflections filling the whole width of the river. Absent much foliage and distorted by gentle ripples, the effect is almost other worldly.

  1. Great set; the 2nd shot is fav.; there is a lot of movement in that one.

    • Thanks, Harrie. I agree about the movement in the second one.

  2. Beautiful lighting and reflections Linda. I can see why you chose to make a few photographs here.

    • Thank you, Mark. Yes, this spot charms me. The color palette is so different from what I see in most of the nearby area.
