The Burned Wall 1 (From the Archives)

In August 2004 my friend Britt and I were returning to Oberlin from an outing in Cleveland when we drove past a used-car lot that had seen a recent fire. It looked like a great place to take photographs, so we returned a few days later, cameras in hand, hoping no one was too hasty with a clean-up. Good for us, they weren’t, although things seemed a bit more tidy. The next seven photographs are of the wall beside the car lot. The technical quality of some of these photos is not terribly good; I hope the quality of the wall sort of makes up for that.
Romancing Reality 
Well worth the return trip. Not that I’m looking for technical problems, but I don’t see any in this photo. It looks perfectly fine to me.

If it goes any bigger, it falls apart. The problem is more noticeable in some of the others in this series. In some ways the Nikon D70 (which is what I used here) didn’t produce photos as good for me as the old Sony Cybershot F707.
