    • Thanks, feralc4t. No, no small stones. We really don’t have small stones in this part of the country, odd as that sounds to this Northerner. Nor big ones—except the bedrock. The ripples are from the water flowing over bits of leaves and branches submerged in the sand. I don’t throw things in water to make ripples, but when I bemoaned the still surface of a pond we stood next to, my daughter threw in a stick. I couldn’t resist, and took the photo.
