This side vent is on the passenger’s side. Jan A. and Pat M. say “side vent” is the word they know for these windows, but Pat and Kathy F. say they were also called “vent windows.” Trudy D. says “Fisher windows,” presumably because they were introduced on cars with Fisher bodies, which, as far as I know, were GM cars. Leslie O. says “wind wings.” Mary J. goes for “wings,” too: either “wing vents” or “cozy wings.” Mary Ellyn C. says “ventilators.” Anyone remember something different?

Great shot, Linda. The roof support is called the A pillar and some folks called the windows that name. Just another piece of useless information.
