Thanks, Ken. I love droughts! Not only do droughts give me more of the riverbed, but they also mean I can wade over to the other side of the river and walk in it in both directions. I’m glad that I can’t influence the weather with my preferences, or I’d be in a lot of trouble with the local farmers.

Ah, that stick. Was it there by natural chance or did you ‘pose’ it ? either way it is perfect to complete the image.

The stick posed itself. I would never have thought of that arrangement. Nature is so much better at arranging things than I am. Sometimes I’ll remove a distraction (usually along the edge) in Photoshop or Lightroom, but I don’t think I’ve ever added anything or moved anything thinking I could improve on what nature has given me.
