Barn with Cats
November 28, 2014
Freed from the muck, I continued up the road until I found an interesting old barn. The barn was interesting; my photographs of it were not—except perhaps for this detail with barn cats.

Sometimes the best photos are in the details instead of the broader picture. And cats always make great subjects.

I like it – such a contrast between all the hard angles and the cats’ soft curves. And the colors are so harmonious –

It lends itself to that – I think that in a lot of your work the scientist’s analytical eye is as evident as the artist’s eye for harmony. You really bring both sides to the table, and they never fight! 😉
