Thanks, Ken. I can agree with the perfect light, but I didn’t foresee the square crop; it was only in download that I saw that the horizontal format just didn’t work. This crop is smack from the middle of the rectangle, though. Unusual for me, I did not hit Auto in Lightroom’s Basic Develop menu (or if I did, I undid it). That’s usually my starting point, and I adjust exposure and so forth from there. This image really wanted to be pretty much what it was on import.

This should be a grain elevator museum. It would be well received and would do a lot for the town of Kipton.

I like the dark, brooding atmosphere with that shaft of beautiful light. It’s a great subject.
