Beach Marks 1

I found quite a few layers in this snippet of Beer Can Beach: dead-tree branches, their shadows, sea weed and a shell, tiny sand ridges from the wave action of the water, and the underlying sand.

A wonderful find. The composition you have managed to find works so well. The criss-cross of dead branches and their shadows is one element. But it is the more subtle elements that add so much. The little blue pebble dead centre, and the reversed ‘C’ shaped strand of seaweed. Very well seen, Linda.

Thanks, Andy, for looking so closely at this photograph. That’s what we all wish for, isn’t it.
