Chicory Blue

I’m not telling you anything you don’t already know by saying that I’ve been neglecting to post to this blog for some time. I’m going to try something different for a while: posting just one photo at a time and with fewer words. Maybe then I really will get back into the groove faster. This photo is of a field I passed on a walk to the river this past July.

Although I have not posted photos on my blog lately, I have participated in other people’s blogs. A woman named Melinda Green Harvey has started a new blog (she has many—all good) she calls Dirtgazing, where she posts her own and others’ photographs of the ground, loosely defined. I sent her 20 photographs, and she has used 11 of them so far. (I look at what’s at my feet a lot—there are many more “dirt” photos I could send her.) Another blog, to which I have contributed two photographs, is called What Light through Yonder Window  and features photographs of windows. You may have already seen the photo I posted there this morning, but not the one I posted five days ago. (Scroll down at the website to see it.)

  2. Thank you! I hope I’ll be posting more regularly now. It’s fun to meet other bloggers online and feel as if I know them at least a little.
