Parting Shots at Autumn, Now Long Gone
December 21, 2013
My last photography foray in Ohio this year was one of my wanderings, where I drive 10 or 15 minutes west of home, turn south on an interesting road, go until I see an interesting road to my right, turn and drive until I come to a more interesting road to my left and keep zigzagging until I start to get hungry for lunch, then zigzag back, trying not to go down the same roads. I find some interesting things this way but probably couldn’t find them again. This time I was after fall color and still playing with moving my camera while pressing the shutter. Some of these photos show intentional camera movement and some don’t.

Your intentional camera movement shots are outstanding, Linda.

Thank you, Ken. I’m still struggling with intention. Maybe some day I’ll figure out what they mean—beyond “they’re fun” and “they’re pretty.” Or maybe that’s all there is to them.
