Cortez, the Last of the Metal Tubs? 1
March 4, 2015
During our last trip to Cortez I was taken, as usual, by the metal tubs used by the fish-packing operations. I love their luster when the sun hits them the right way—and even when it doesn’t. I fear they will all soon be replaced by plastic tubs like those in the second and third photographs here. The plastic tubs can still be interesting, but they don’t hold the charm for me that the metal ones do.
