Fish Bins 30

March 9, 2018

I managed to make one pilgrimage to Cortez before I left Florida this season. The one thing I absolutely had to do was add to my collection of fish-bin photographs. The last post that featured a photograph of a fish bin was on April 19, 2017. I didn’t find any reflections of red trucks this time, but was fascinated all the same by what I did find.

    • Thank you, Ken. More of these bins are being replaced by plastic ones. Such a pity.

  2. There is something so satisfying about the texture and color of these.

    • Thanks, Lemony. I’m glad you find these satisfying. More to come. I just love taking these photographs.

  3. These are great, and I can’t help thinking of Florida oranges – I know, ridiculous, but knowing you were in Florida….I like both compositions – I like the way the top one includes all of the slash, and the way the rusted details draw you in on the second one. Your remark that you love taking these shows.

    • Thanks, Lynn. Well, they are Florida oranges . . . heh heh.
