Yes! The fallen leaf, the leaves on leaves, the caught leaf, whatever, it’s one of my favorite subjects. This iteration is terrific – what a contrast between the different leaves. The bit of Spanish moss seems purposeful, it’s so perfect. And the gradations of light from dim to bright, yet staying smooth, is beautiful. Happy-making image.

When I posted this photograph (and earlier, when I took it), I was forgetting how you love a fallen leaf. To me, the oak leaves look as if they are being displayed by the palm leaf. Thanks for your close reading of this image, Lynn.
