Love Letters in the Sand
February 4, 2018
My other name is Mom, so I took this sand message personally. (I have such sweet children.) There must be someone else with that name, though, because those who call me Mom were not in South Lido Park—or anywhere near— when I took this photo. If your name is also Mom, maybe this is meant for you.
Update later in the day: This could also be a message signed by Mom and meant for her children. So now let this also be for all moms’ children everywhere. We love you.

Who wouldn’t shoot this? It looks like someone used a lot of precision in writing this. There’s never too much love in the world.

I’m guessing that you would be one of those who shoot this, and I agree with both your statements, Ken. The lettering is especially appealing to me for the way the “u” is drawn with the hint of a serif and for the difference in the shapes of the two “m’s,” the first looking like a capital letter, the second in lower case.

Wish I’d thought of both of them when I saw this. (I’m such a narcissist.)
