Thank you, Ken! (It’s not a waterbed, you know, except in Harrie’s poetic sense.) We have a real waterbed in the other bedroom, though. I’m not sure what you do when you want to get rid of one, and I keep fearing that this one will spring a leak or fall through the floor or something.

Thank you, Lynn. There are so many things I’d rather photograph than do what one is supposed to do with them (like make the bed). Domestic chores are endlessly exploitable! Or maybe it’s “Domestic chores are endlessly avoidable.” Except, of course, that one might prefer at some point to sleep in one’s bed, with sheets and blankets.
