Thank you, Ken! (It’s not a waterbed, you know, except in Harrie’s poetic sense.) We have a real waterbed in the other bedroom, though. I’m not sure what you do when you want to get rid of one, and I keep fearing that this one will spring a leak or fall through the floor or something.

Such a tenderly gradual transition from dark to light – or the other way around. You saw a lot here, and we do, too.

Thank you, Lynn. There are so many things I’d rather photograph than do what one is supposed to do with them (like make the bed). Domestic chores are endlessly exploitable! Or maybe it’s “Domestic chores are endlessly avoidable.” Except, of course, that one might prefer at some point to sleep in one’s bed, with sheets and blankets.

Made me laugh! Yes, much more fun to photograph the bed, probably the dirty dishes even, than make them right again.
