This one is great in B&W. The graphical white striped lower half in contrast with the more ‘cloudy’ upper half.

Thank you, Harrie. I flipped this one upside down—to its benefit, I think. The “cloudy” part just didn’t look right on the bottom. Also, upside down it seems to move from left to right, which I prefer.

Thank you, Ken. See my comment to Harrie. Looked at a lot of Silver Efex filters before settling on this one. Then I still tweaked it back in Lightroom.

I love this one – dark and moody – before I read the comments, I wondered if you’d tipped it around – yes, it’s really rushing!

Thanks, Lynn. Besides the cloudy part not looking right at the bottom, I liked how the sky took on the appearance of rushing water when flipped.

This is my favorite so far. It feels like we are looking out across a dark body of water to an equally ominous shoreline. Thanks for saving us the trouble of standing on our heads to view it 🙂

You’re so welcome, Alan! It’s just amazing to me how this photograph improved with flipping.
