  1. The composition and colors are great, I just want to believe this is paint, there is that instinctive turning away from bird poop…but the more I look, the more I can convince myself it IS paint. Ah, I feel better now. 😉

    • I’m pretty sure it’s paint, Lynn. It would have had to be a very large bird, and not too many Great Blue Herons fly over downtown Oberlin. Many dumpsters, apparently, have had paint cans dumped into them.

        • Yes, well, if it had been the calling card of the Great Blue Heron, I still would have photographed it, so you were right to be concerned. 😉
