    On a day in late fall, so cold that you can see your breath, Mrs. Mole,the laundress, stood gazingacross the lake at the Institute. She didn’t like her job, but the bipeds in charge of the world thought it was the only one she was fit for. She didn’t like having to squint all the time, either

    I think you could illustrate children’s books with your fish bin images!

    • I’d originally planned to post the whole horizontal photo, but when I revisited my planned post, I thought it didn’t quite work. So I cropped part of it into this square. Tomorrow will have the rest of the photo, a vertical crop. Thanks for commenting on the square format; I think you would not have liked my original intent. And, yes, Kathy’s comment is pretty funny! Maybe Mrs. Mole lives on that other galaxy . . .
