Two years ago I wandered among the sedges along the Vermilion River.

Beautiful – they add something, and you don’t expect to see that kind of light down near the ground, among the grasses.

Thanks, Lynn. The secret may be that sedges aren’t grasses. This kind, at least, likes to grow in shallow water, which is what was there.
