The One That Got Away (Dumpster Version)

May 5, 2016

I could see the gems on the other side of the fence but didn’t take the chance to get close enough to give them a proper setting.

These photographs conclude this series of dumpster photographs, which began March 21. All the photographs in the series were taken in Sarasota, Florida, except the ones titled Dumpster Goes for the Gold, which were shot in Birmingham, Ohio. I hope to continue the series another time.

  1. Great series. And so much potential on the other side of the fence.

    • Thank you, Ken. Glad you see the potential on the other side of the fence. What a pity to miss out on it.

    • I’m so glad, Lynn. These photos were so much fun to take and process and look at. I’m looking forward to finding more photogenic dumpsters, though I know a few of my friends have seen quite enough. Ah, well, that’s the beauty of photographing for oneself.
