Thank you, Barry. I photograph these traps every time I go to Cortez, but most of the photos are not very interesting.

this feels like 2 or 3 photos in 1. i’d be tempted to break it up and show it as a grouping. really surprising color variations.

Thank you, Harrie. I’ll bet I never see the crab traps this way again. Don’t know where all that color came from. Maybe a boat in back of this stack.

Fantastic spot! And it must not have been too easy to photograph. I love the dimensionality. There’s all this interest up front but you keep getting pulled back in, too.

Thanks, Lynn. I did take several shots. Think I had to fool around with the EV thingie. Then just exposed for the brightest area and fooled around in Lightroom a little.
