I love these old cottages. Sadly, they are disappearing all over Sarasota as people tear them down to build large houses or condominiums in their place.

We have a section of them close to my house. All have the same architecture, but with different color and trim schemes.
Do I remember correctly that there was a nude beach in Sarasota?

I don’t know about the nude beach if there is or was one, Barry. Did you Google it?

I like the riot of color and patterns in this. Nice shot!

Thanks, Ken. It’s one of those that made me take it. Do you know what I mean? I was walking along, admittedly looking for things to photograph, but this just jumped in my path, sort of shocking me with its insistence that I take it.

Makes me smile! Sad to hear these charmers have to be torn down for bigger-is-better-is-boring homes.

Some of them aren’t boring, but none has the charm of these old dears.
