It would be sad to see this series go but I’m sure you’ll have others that are just as nice.

Actually, I scheduled this photo before I processed more of this series. So I lied, as you’ll see tomorrow. I’m not going to have any others—as nice or no, except from the archives—until I get my computer problems resolved. I’m afraid to download to my iffy drive. Apple tells me to send back the drive; Seagate tells me to try the drive on another Apple computer running the same operating system (El Capitan). So yesterday I upgraded my husband’s laptop and now have the drive connected to it. So far it hasn’t ejected. Not sure what I should wish for.

A wish for a complete recovery would not be out of line. Recently I recovered photos and documents from two drives from my old HP. They now reside in an enclosure that holds a total of 4 drives. And I didn’t have to open my computer case. They connect via USB3 and are quite fast now. The enclosure was less than $100 (Amazon) and well worth it (to me).

Thanks, Tam. It wasn’t so much a break-in on my part as a partial reprieve from the drive, which began behaving a bit better after a while. See my reply to OneOwner above for the latest on my computer woes.

Well, it IS a very beautiful image. The colors by themselves are soothing, then you add that it’s water and the whole thing just makes you want to melt into it…engenders a nice out breath!
So sorry to hear the computer issues are not solved yet. We talked about mine, and I’ve been too busy to do much to rectify all the missing LR images. At least they exist and can be brought back over. But I found out I must have stopped backing up for months, because months are missing from the hard drive. That makes me happy that I don’t re-use cards. I just start new ones. So another layer, though a lot of work to go back through months of photos and cull out the good ones. Daunting.
So what are you supposed to do, buy a “whole nother” computer that plays nicely with Seagate??? Aargh!

Yeah, I don’t know. This is now day two of testing on David’s computer, and it hasn’t self-ejected yet. Happy this image gives you a nice out breath!
