Hill Street Overpass (Asheville)
May 7, 2015
On my way back to Ohio from Florida I stopped in Asheville, North Carolina, to visit my friend Kathie. Leaving her to her weaving one morning, I took the camera on a walk to and then down Riverside Drive. I had photographed in this area a couple of years ago, so I knew it would yield treasures. Had some surprises, too, like this overpass on Hill Street. It makes me think of a Roman coliseum.

A surprising diversion from the detail photos. And an excellent one at that.

Thank you, Ken. I swear, early-morning light can make anything interesting . . .
