Downtown Same Day 3
February 26, 2015
Photographs I have called “ghosts” bear remnants of an earlier life. This year’s photograph (top) of the side of the building whose back I photographed for the wall-series posts that began January 26 contrasts with a photograph I took of the same spot in 2006 (bottom). I wish I had been there earlier to see other versions.

Nice. Old buildings are evidently full of ghosts. Apparently it is impossible or impractical to reuse some space during remodeling. At OC the new science center includes a complete stairwell which once connected the second floor of the neuroscience building to a door which opened to the former parking lot, now an interior corridor.

Thanks for writing, David. I’m sure Oberlin College buildings have a lot of old ghosts—maybe especially in Peters Hall.

Je dirait excellente pour la première photo et superbe pour la deuxième, ou la couleur apporte un plus, les deux biens composer sans fantôme en vu , mais zen.
