This is the other side of the tank I showed in yesterday’s post. The way the flowerish shapes bunch at the top of this image and streak toward the bottom reminds me of the work of Charles Rennie MacIntosh.


I think it must have taken years for this fuel tank to look like this. It would be fun to go back every year to see how it’s progressing.

This one is really really nice – it tells stories, there’s depth, it has an Old Master feeling.

Thank you, Lynn. Thanks for pointing out the depth. I tend to take a lot of flat photographs; not sure why. Interesting that it’s Old Master to you and Art Nouveau to me.
