Romancing Reality 
The quality of this in the top section – where it looks like tightly packed stained glass fragments, each piece sharply defined – is remarkable.

Thanks, Andy. I favor that part, too. I think it has as much to do with shutter speed relative to the speed of the water motion as it does to depth of field, maybe more. What do you think?

It has to be the consequence of those factors all coming together to achieve that effect. If you could write an equation to define that, you would be on to a winner!
