This is the best of the bunch Linda, I think. They are tricky – I’ve tried. As yet I haven’t invested in a strong ND filter to slow the shutter speed, because it’s difficult to justify the expense for something that won’t get regular use. But, maybe that’s the wrong way of looking at it. If I bought one, then perhaps I would start seeing opportunities to use it?

Thanks, Andy. I still haven’t bought a neutral-density filter myself. I crank up the aperture number as high as it will go, and the ISO setting as low as it will go. Still, I wonder what more interesting results I might get with an ND filter. Maybe, as you say, if I bought one I’d think of more uses for it.
