Along Clay Gully

August 11, 2013

After hanging around the Old Myakka general store all morning April 7 Janet and I were hungry enough to eat an alligator. Luckily, the restaurant inside nearby Myakka River State Park serves alligator stew, and we happily indulged. Exiting the restaurant I was stopped in my tracks by a crosswalk. A few clicks and we were off to another part of the park to walk along one of the Myakka River’s tributaries called Clay Gully. I just love that name, and of course I love the water, shoreline trees, and reflections.
