Just Grass?
January 25, 2013
When Janet and I go out with our cameras, we tend to stay within shouting distance. Sunday at Robinson Preserve—in Bradenton, the city north of Sarasota—Janet stopped to photograph something, and I kept walking. I didn’t want to go too far, so I soon stopped, silently wishing she’d finish soon and catch up. After a few minutes it became obvious that Janet wouldn’t head my way anytime soon, so it would be a good idea to make the best of my time. Looking around, all I saw were the uninspiring grasses I’d been looking at for the past hour. Or were they uninspiring? Hmmm . . . Just maybe . . .
Nice shooting, Linda.
I’m viewing on my laptop tonight, so am without the benefit of a regular monitor. Even so, the images came out well. It’s amazing the things we can find to photograph when we sit quietly and just look around us.
