Linda Grashoff's Photography Adventures

More from Cortez

March 5, 2012

When Janet and I went to Cortez in January, I took photographs of more than hoses. In the first one below you can see egrets, herons, and a lone pelican waiting for fishermen and -women to drop something as they unload their boats. If you look carefully, you can also see the blue hose that is reflected in the refrigerated truck (or maybe it’s a trailer, now that I see it from this angle) in my last post. The second photograph shows the cowboy doll from Toy Story riding an electrical outlet outside the Star Fish restaurant. The next photograph features electrical outlets, too, but I don’t know what the one after that depicts, other than a slab of rusted and distressed metal. The rusted and distressed Red Devil, shown in the last two photographs, is obviously some kind of vehicle.

    Linda,
You have such a marvelous eye for seeing Art in the everyday and capturing it for the rest of us. Thanks so much for sharing your work!

This is a particularly nice series, and not just because Woody is here. Nice work.
