One month ago, February 1, Janet and I drove up to the fishing village of Cortez. It is still my favorite place to take photographs—if you don’t count Ohio’s Vermilion River when the Leptothrix discophora films are abundant. This boat has seen better days but was still afloat. I think the white stuff is plaster from plasterboard.
